Eating Disorders, Stress related Physical Disorders: cardiovascular, neurological, respiratory, ovarian, psycho oncology Clinical Psychophysiology, HRV, Biofeedback, Clinical Neuropsychology, Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy, and, in particular, Wellbeing Therapy (WBT), Achievement Commitment Therapy (ACT).


 

 

AlexanderAlexander Sukhorukov  Ph.D.

Dr. Alexander Sukhorukov is a senior scientist at the Department of Higher Plants at Moscow Lomonosov State University, Faculty of Biology. He joined the Department in 1994 and received his Ph.D. in 2003. During the years 1998-2007 he worked on the flora of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Since 1997 he has studied the flora of Central Russia, predominantly the Black Earth region, participated in creation of The Flora of the Central Russia, The Red Data Book and The Identification Manual of Plants of the Tambov province.
His other current research interests are:

  •  Flora of Nepal, flora of the Eastern Mediterranean area with special focus on alien flora and common trends in taxonomy and morphology of invasive species in Eurasia;
  • Systematics, molecular phylogeny and distribution of Chenopodiaceae;
  • Carpology of the core Caryophyllales (Chenopodiaceae in particular) and its implications for taxonomy of this group;
  • The evolution of the fruit/seed characters in Cichorieae (Compositae).

At the present time he about 140 scientific publications, including monographs, books and journal articles in Russian, German and English.
His collaboration is with the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (Flora of Nepal project), Botanical Museum and Botanical Garden Berlin-Dahlem (Compositae), Museum of the Natural History in Vienna (Chenopodiaceae), Florida Natural Museum of the University Gainesville (Compositae), Chinese Academy of Sciences (Chenopodiaceae).

 


 

 

Muhammad AttiqueMuhammad Attique Khan Shahid  Ph.D.

Dr. Muhammad Attique Khan Shahid received his M. Phil Degree in Solid State Physics from CSSP (PU) Lahore Pakistan with research project entitled “Radioactive Pollution and its Health Hazards, a Study by SSNTDs and XRD analysis” and Master Degree in Physics with specialization in “Advance Electronics” recently has completed his Ph.D project in Solid State Physics entitled “A Comprehensive Investigation of Solid Aerosols Using XRD and ASS Techniques”. Dr. Shahid has completed other relevant Post graduate training courses as participant, presenter and as a faculty member in his areas of specialization from PINUM, NIAB, PNRA,NIFA, EPD etc the well reputed institutions of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission and Environmental Protection Department along with his Professional in service training. Recently he is working as Associate Professor of Physics in the Department of Physics GCU Faisalabad. As for as his research Experiences is concerned it is multidimensional, Dr. Shahid has 30 years of academic and research experiences at graduation and post graduation level, his areas of interest are Atomic and Nuclear Physics, Health and Medical Physics, Radiation Physics Geo Physics, Soil Physics, Climatology and Meteorology, X-ray crystallography etc. More then 93 research Projects have been completed under his supervision and has 57 research publications in well-reputed journals in his credit, Pakistan Nuclear Regularity Authority (PNRA) certified Health Physicist RPO, RSO (PAEC) as attachment with atomic and Nuclear Physics research lab. Active member of Editorial Committee and referee in above said areas of interest for the Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences (JBAS) and Global Advanced Research Journal of Geology and Mining Research (GAJMR). He has also worked as an associate editor for the journal of Natural Sciences, GCU Faisalabad. Author of Handbook of Physics (9th, 10th) objective type Physics for F.Sc (Part I, II), Experimental Physics Manuals (F.Sc part I, II), and M.A. Punjabi guides (Complete set) and supervised the Book on “The Secret of Gravity in the Light Of Quran and Science”. Dr. Shahid is member of PIP, Aerosol society and PASTIC. Established and upgraded graduation, post graduation level, labs in the department of Physics GCU Faisalabad, played key role in launching B.S (H), M.Sc. Physics and M.Phil Physics programs, rectified loopholes in their curriculum as chairman department of Physics through BOS, BOF and academic council meetings to bring them at par with other national/ international universities of the world. Currently working as regular faculty member NIAB for graduate, post-graduate level courses for atomic energy commission scientists working in different organizations along with R and D activities in his areas of interest as joint venture with PINUM, NOORI, NIAB, SKCH etc.

 


 

 

PallePalle Jorgensen  Ph.D.

Prof. Palle Jorgensen is Professor of mathematics, he is teaching at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, USA; and before that he has taught at Stanford University, Aarhus University (Denmark), and at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a research mathematician,-- funding from the Natl. Sci. Foundation,-- his research papers have appeared in international scientific journals. Subjects: -- math, both pure and applied (functional analysis, operator algebras, and harmonic analysis), and applied: mathematical physics (quantum theory), engineering (signal/image processing), and statistics (Gaussian processes). Shahid-Badar-UsmaniShahid Bader Usmani  Ph.D.

Dr. Shahid Bader Usmani passed Master of Science in Chemistry from University of Karachi in 1988. After about one year teaching in Jamia Osmani College Karachi, he joined H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry, University of Karachi for Ph.D under the guidance of Dr. Bina Shaheen Siddiqui and got Ph.D in 1996. He worked on Studies of Chemical Constituents of Holarrhenaantidysenterica; and on β-carboline Series of Alkaloids and their Pharmacological Activity.

Soon after the Ph.D he was awarded UNESCO scholarship to conduct research in Tokyo Institute of Chemistry, Japan, where he worked on Organometallic Synthesis.

After returning from Japan he joined Merck Sharp and Dhomeand worked for two years in quality laboratory. Since 2001 he has working in quality laboratory in Mylan Pharmaceutical Canada (Previously known as Merck, Germany).
