Diana Janušauskienė, PhD, is currently a principal researcher and head of the doctoral school at the Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences. In 2020, she was elected president of the Lithuanian Sociological Association. Dr. Janušauskienė holds BA (1994) in Sociology from the Vilnius University, MA (1996) in Society and Politics from the Central European University / Lancaster University and PhD (2002) in Sociology from the Institute of Sociology and Philosophy of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Her main research interests cover human security, democratization, national minorities, and discrimination. She has over 30 publications in English, Lithuanian, and Polish. Her most recent research has focused on the social implications of the COVID-19.

Georgi Petrunov is professor of Sociology of deviant behavior and crime at University of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria. He is specialized in studying crime in the Balkan region and the Eastern Europe. His research interests are in the field of study of organized crime, money laundering, human trafficking, prostitution. Authored by articles in journals like The Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, European Journal of Sociology, Sexuality Research and Social Policy, Trends in Organized Crime. Chair of Bulgarian Sociological Association (2017-2018).

Professor Eunyoung Kim received her Ph.D in crime, law, and society from the Department of Sociology, Criminology and Law & Society at the University of Florida at Gainesville. Currently, she is a professor in the Department of Police Administration and Criminology at Catholic Kwandong University, South Korea.

She is specialized on various issues including criminological theories, investigative psychology, corrections, victimology, terrorism, and immigrant and refugee issues. She has published a number of books, and book chapters, and articles in world renowned journals. Her latest books include Handbook for applied investigative psychology, Handbook for corrections and its relevant issues, and Understanding international crime, multi-dimensional security integrated security. The latest studies are “Torture Experiences and Mental Health Problems among Refugees: The Impact of Repatriation to North Korea on Mental Disorders” (2021), Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment & Trauma; and “Gender difference in the association between alcohol consumption and depressive symptoms among the elderly in rural areas”(2020), Journal of Ethnicity in Substance Abuse.

Edlyne E. Anugwom (PhD) is Professor of Sociology and African Development currently with the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.  His research interests include political sociology of African development; industrial/labour sociology; social conflict; terrorism and the social dimensions of climate change.

Edlyne is also the current Secretary-General of the Pan African Anthropologists Association (PAAA). Apart from being a reviewer for several reputable journals, he is also the current Editor of the journal “African Anthropologist” published by CODESRIA. He has held fellowship/teaching positions in Leiden, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Wassenaar, Mainz, Cape Town, and Bridgewater U.S.A, among others.
