EnderGiacomo Lazzeri was born in 28/07/1973. Degree in Medicine and Surgery at University of Siena 1999. Since 2001 he is operative coordinator of the Nutritional Surveillance Project in Tuscan Region. He is specialist in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine at University of Siena 2003. He is PhD in Molecular Medicine Section XX Cycle Epidemiology Environment and Health in 2008.
Currently, his main research interest is to investigate the healthy behaviors of adolescents, in particular on physical activity and nutrition status, through participation in both national and international surveillance studies.In addition, he is also interested in health management.

EnderPaolo Polidori is a full professor of Animal Feeding and Nutrition; he is very competent about animal source foods, such as milk, meat, and eggs. Most of these foods are widely used in infant nutrition, especially milk, which is the main food in children's diets.

He believes that it is essential to describe nutritional quality parameters in animal source foods adequately to avoid the risk of transforming children into herbivores, replacing milk with plant beverages, i.e., soy milk, almond milk, etc.

PanekShe graduated from Jagiellonian University Medical College in Cracow. She obtained her master's degree in nursing in 2010. She has been working as a nurse at the University Children's Hospital of Cracow in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit since 2008.

After graduation, she obtained a specialization in the field of nursing anesthesia and intensive care. Her commitment to scientific activity resulted in the preparation and defense of her doctoral thesis as part of her doctoral studies (2017). Her dissertation was about pain treatment and management in Polish neonatal units. She's completed professional internships in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Clinical Hospital Anna Mazowiecka in Warsaw (2013) and at the Neonatal Pathology and Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital in Turku, Finland (2018). She is a member of the Scientific Council of the Polish Journal, Journal of Pain. Her main scientific interest is focused on the nonpharmacological and pharmacological methods of pain relief and pain assessment in newborns.

Additionally, she is interested in evaluating the parent's activity in the intensive care unit for the newborn. She is the first author of 7 scientific papers and co-author of 15 congress abstracts. She was the organizer of training conferences for nurses and midwives in 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2024, in which 150 participants from southern Poland took part. She has an ongoing scientific project entitled: "Cultural adaptation of the N-PASS scale (Neonatal Pain, Agitation and Sedation) for assessing pain in newborns".

EnderProf. Przemysław J. Tomasik, MD, graduated from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. He is an active pediatrician and pathologist (consultant). He received the honorable completion of doctoral studies 1999 (PhD thesis: The function of the entero-island axis in children with eating disorders), habilitation 2011 (thesis: Secretion of selected peptides of the gastrointestinal tract and adipose tissue in infants). He works as a researcher and academic teacher at the Department of Clinical Biochemistry of the Institute of Pediatrics, Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University, and practices at the University Children's Hospital in Krakow. He is the author of over 120 full-length papers, a participant of over 100 scientific conferences, lecturer at several dozen postgraduate courses. Tutor of 3 completed doctoral students. And he is currently serving as a consultant in the laboratory diagnostics of the Lesser Poland province. He is also a member of the Scientific Research Committee in University Children's Hospital and coordinator of POCT in the Hospital. Scientific interest – pediatric gastroenterology, brain-gut axis, pre-pro-postbiotics, point of care testing.
